MARYLEEN SCHILTKAMP
Maryleen Schiltkamp is an international graphic artist whose oil paintings combine classical order with colorful temperament, and a wide reference to the continuity of tradition in art. Maryleen was born in Curaçao, Netherlands Antilles in 1959. At present Maryleen lives and maintains studios in Amsterdam, The Netherlands as well as in St. Petersburg, Russia. As an international artist, Maryleen has had numerous solo as well as group exhibitions in galleries and museums in New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Curaçao and The Netherlands. Her work is in many private and public collections throughout the world including the Curacao Museum, Curacao, The World Trade Center in Curaçao, and Akzo Nobel / Organon Inc. in West Orange, NJ. At present the artist lives and maintains studios in both New York as well as in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. 1977 - 1978 Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Fine arts and graphic design. 1978 - 1981 Rijksacademie van Beeldende Kunsten, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
