It chronicles the development of scenography from the 1910’s through the 1960’s by showcasing the Russian artists who carried on Diaghilev’s legacy of bringing cutting edge art into the theater.
Through set, stage, and costume designs, this vibrant collection celebrates the dynamic relationship between stage design and fine art, architecture and product design that was foreseen by Diaghilev’s artistic vision.
