The StoSvet Literary project (www.StoSvet.net) includes the "Стороны Света"/(Storony Sveta) and Cardinal Points journals, the Stosvet Press publishing house, and the Compass Translation Award. Starting with volume 6, the Cardinal Points Journal is published under the auspices of Brown University’s Slavic Studies Department. Cardinal Points Journal (Robert Chandler, Boris Dralyuk, and Irina Mashinski, editors) focuses on Russian and Eastern European poetry and prose in English translation. Founding Director: Oleg Woolf (1954-2011).
