The Russian American Cultural Center of New York and St. Petersburg Review enthusiastically sponsor a poetry reading of Dmitry Golyanko.

Golynko was born in 1969, Leningrad, USSR and lives in St. Petersburg, Russia. He is a poet, a scholar in visual ethics and biopolitics, and a literary and art critic. He is also a scientific researcher at the Russian Institute of Arts History, St. Petersburg, Russia. In 2004-2005 he was Visiting Professor at Cheongju University, Slavic Dept. (South Korea). He is a member of Moscow Art Magazine Editorial Board, and Professor at University of Film and Television Studies (St. Petersburg, Russia). His books of poetry are Homo Scribens>/i> (St. Petersburg, Borey-Art, 1994), Directory (Moscow, Kolonna Publications, 2001), Concrete Doves (Moscow, New Literary Review, 2003), and As It Turned Out (New York, Ugly Duckling Presse, 2008).

St. Petersburg Review is an independent, international review of contemporary literature that seeks to support global connections and affinities through the language of literature as it reflects current social, political, and literary landscapes.
