Eliot (1888-1965) published in 2019 by St. Petersburg, Azbooka https://azbooka.ru/books/sobranie-exqe and the book of Selected Poems and Essays of Charles Bernstein, The Bollingen Prize Winner (2019) just published by the Russian Center of Contemporary Literature (Moscow: Russian Gulliver, 2020) as well as his own recent books of poetry in Russian: Two Sides of the Medal (Moscow, 2019), A Spell (Minsk, 2018) as well as his new poems (Novy Mir, 2019).
Dr. Ian Probstein, associate professor of English at Touro College, is a bilingual Russian-American poet, scholar, and translator of poetry. He has published eleven books of poetry in Russian, one in English, translated more than a dozen poetry volumes; and has compiled and edited more than thirty books and anthologies of poetry in translation. His most recent book in English is The River of Time: Time-Space, Language and History in Avant-Garde, Modernist, and Contemporary Poetry. Поэт и переводчик Ян Пробштейн представит Полное аннотированное собрание стихотворений и пьес лауреата Нобелевской премии Томаса Стернза Элиота (СПб.: Азбука, 2019), нынешнего лауреата Боллингеновской премии американского поэта, лидера языковой школы Чарльза Бернстина (М.: Центр Современной литературы-Русский Гулливер, 2020) и прочтет стихи из неданво опубликованных книг «Две стороны медали» (2 изд. 2019), «Морока» (2018) и стихи из новой книги, опубликованные в «Новом мире» (№ 8, 2019).
Пробштейн Ян Эмильевич (р. 1953) — поэт, переводчик поэзии, литературовед, канд. фил. наук, доктор литературоведения (Ph. D.), доцент (associate professor) кафедры английского языка и литературы (Touro College, New York). Составитель, редактор, автор предисловия, комментариев и один из ведущих переводчиков книги "Стихотворения и избранные Cantos" Эзры Паунда (1 т., СПб, Владимир Даль, 2003) «Стихотворения и поэмы» Томаса Стернза Элиота (М., АСТ, 2013), «Полное собрание пьес и стихотворений Т. С. Элиота» (СПб.-Москва: Азбука-Иностранка, 2019). Участвовал в издании «Собрания стихотворений» Дилана Томаса (М.: Рудомино, 2015), автор 11 книг стихов, многих переводных книг и антологих и нескольких книг эссе и литературоведческих исследований на русском и английском языках.
