About the author:
Marina Rubin was born in the small town of Vinnitsa, Ukraine. The family left the former Soviet Union in 1989 seeking asylum. Her first chapbook Ode to Hotels (2002) was followed by Once (2004) and Logic (2007). Marina’s work had appeared in over 70 literary journals and anthologies. She is an associate editor of Mudfish, a Tribeca literary and art magazine and a 2013 recipient of COJECO Blueprint Fellowship. Her website is http://www.marinarubin.com. She lives in New York.
